Day 1: Marrakech

We will collect you at the airport to go to Marrakech hotel. You can visit the city during the day until dinner in the hotel.

Day 2: Guided visit in Marrakech

Marrakech, The Red City of Morocco, also known as the South Pearl has many monuments World Heritage. Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel or riad and take you to the most important historical and cultural interest places. In the morning, we will visit the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia and Badi Palaces and the Ben Youssef Madrasa. In the afternoon, we will walk by the Majorelle Gardens, the Menara Gardens and the Koutoubia Mosque. At the end of excursion we will take you back to the hotel.

Day 3: Marrakech · Ait Ben Haddou · Ouarzazate

We will cross the Tizi n’Tichka (2.260 m.), in the High Atlas mountains, where you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and berber villages along the road to Ouarzazate, gateway to the Sahara Desert. The next destination is Ait Ben Haddou, World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO in 1987. Many famous films have been performed on this place, like “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Jesus of Nazareth”. Finally we will go to Ouarzazate, where we will spend the first night in a Kasbah hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate · Agdz · Draa Valley · Mharech Gorges (Dakar Rally route)

After breakfast, we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. Entering in the Draa Valley yo can see diferents berber villages like Agdz. After leaving behind the villages of Nkob, Tazzarine and Alnif, we will take a track to the Mharech Gorges. Many of these sections are used in the Dakar Rally. We will finish the day sleeping in a riad in the middle of nowhere.

Day 5: Mharech Gorges · Ramlia Oasis · Ouzina Dunes · Merzouga

Continuing on the track of Dakar Rally, we will cross dry rivers to arriving to Ramlia Oasis and the Ouzina Dunes. Then visit the famous village of Khamlia and the Sahara Desert, with the highest dunes in Morocco. We will finish the day dining in the Merzouga hotel.

Day 6: Merzouga · Camel excursion and night in the Sahara Desert

During this stage we will cross other tracks used by the Dakar Rally. We will visit desert nomads and see the oasis where have been filmed movies as “Sahara” with Penelope Cruz. When finish the day, you will do the camel excursion and night in the Sahara Desert.

Day 7: Merzouga · Rissani · Todra Gorges · Dades Valley

After spending the night in the Sahara Desert, we will go to Rissani and Erfoud to visit the factory of fossilized marble before continuing to the Palm Grove of Tafilalet. We will cross the Todra Gorges before arrive to Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

Day 8: Dades Valley · Roses Valley · Ouarzazate · Marrakech

On this last day of tour we will cross the Thousand Kasbahs Route across the beautiful Roses Valley up to Ouarzazate. We will continue to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka peak. We will eat lunch along the way and arrive in the afternoon.
